These are difficult to remove. The removal also requires technicians certified by the IICRC & the Australian Cleaning & Restoration Academy.
What we need to do is entirely remove the odour, As urine is like 1000 times wetter than water, it goes through the carpet, through the backing through the underlay into the subfloor.
To fully fix the problem we need to attend to all affected areas.
McArdles animal urine full treatment packages are available in Central West, Orange, Molong, Bathurst, Kelso, Oberon, Lithgow, Blayney, Cudal, Canowindra, Cowra, Forbes, Parkes, Wellington, Dubbo, Mid-West Regional, Weddin areas.
First, we must pull back the carpet and remove the underlay, and tack-strip (carpet gripper to hold the carpet in place) if these are deemed un-restorable. We then treat carpets and then concrete with an antimicrobial solution and seal the concrete. Next, the carpet is flushed with hot water extraction steam cleaning and then treated with a urine neutralising solution, on both the backing and the surface of the carpet which will start to break down the salt deposits. Once we have agitated thoroughly (to break up the salt deposits.) We then flush and rinse them away with our hot water extraction cleaning system. We treat the carpet with a specialised bacteria treatment which is designed to digest the bacteria that is remaining within the carpet, and air movers are left overnight to dry the affected areas. Upon returning to the property, the underlay is replaced, and the carpet is relayed, the carpet is then steam cleaned and finally treated with a bacteria treatment, neutraliser and deodoriser.
